About the Coffee:
The commitment to processing excellence at finca La Hermosa begins with harvest. Cherries are hand picked based on Brix measurements of 21°. All coffee is processed on the day it is picked to avoid uncontrolled fermentation.
After de-pulping and fermentation, the coffee is thoroughly washed. Drying is carried out on cement tiled patios followed by raised beds. The drying process takes 10-15 days on average.

Together in 2011 they established Finca La Hermosa to pursue their dream.
La Hermosa has altitudes reaching 2,100masl, volcanic soil rich in minerals, rainfall of 1,000 mm and an average temperature of 21ºC, which translates into one of the best microclimates in the world to produce specialty coffees.
